No so far away Holland kingdom begin to support all Europe states especially states from former Yugoslavia, to harder on reforms of state institutions, to help in projects which consider the standardization of state institutions with institutions. To make this happened thay have form the MATRA foundation which support all good projects in fields of justice, health, and others.

Like logic implication,on them desk was a idea from Serbia about the reforms of mental health, of exclude long stain mental patients in hospitals, and send up that people in on them next treatment in community from they are coming. Those are Europe and world standards which are fyncionated in all developed countries, and exactly that cind of center is open like pilot project of Special Psychiatric Hospital Gornja Toponica in Niš,in Radnih Brigada street nr. 26 with full name of Service in Mental Health in Community „Medijana“. Niš has to say with pride that he is a lieder of developing of mental health, in proffer of professional psychiatric care, and not just in Serbia, already in region (world but ours).

However this institution is in status to cover up only municipality Medijana, it is planned to develop also two institutions of community mental health in Niš on municipalities in Palilula and Pantelej, also the two more Centers in towns Leskovac and Vranje. At this way southern Serbia will be all covered up. Like help of this clients of centers, its planed temporary living in protected living appartments wich will help the patients who was long in hospital and thay don’t have where to go back in community.

Service „Medijana“ for now is existing like pilot project because its waiting on official decision of the government of Serbia, to gave the green light of developing of this centers and to help to open centers on the territory of whole Serbia.
